Yay.....well well.....even though I did find this poster and immediatly reconise the figure. but i did notice some style mixes perhaps. the "ray bands" put more emphasis on the captain and he too stands up to be in a herooic poses as well. Red, Blue and the yellow colors work well together and we might see some exaggeration in his facial expression as well. The fonts to mee seem interesting but the "special price" dot I don't think really looks right with this flyer.

I really really like this logo. For one its only 2 colors so has a very nice clean un complicated look. The logo illistration is abstract and very fun and seems almost comical in some way. Having 3 differnt wieghts i think was a lil daring but overall really works.

Ha ha .....this is a whole set of printing design. Everything from a BusCard in the top left, postcard bottom left, and a 2 sided flyer on the center and right. This is a very nice choice of color depending on the season but for arguments sake its summer and you wanna go on holiday season. The flowing illistration imitates water which in that could simbilize the ocean which as we all very well know is just about the number one place to be on vacation.

Hey hey. chip kidd has a very parculiar kind of design, wierd or strange might be being more blunt. this was a design pic on his behalf for winning the award from AIGA for best design and best selling author. Here we can see use of very soft toned colors that don't seem to out balance each other making it work very well altogether. simple black and white photo has some relation to the page that seems to have a somewhat xerox halftone pattern. Nice.

This was my first set of sketches i had created for an idea for a logo. but i only tired to use the lettes H,M and S and thought of a few ways to make it possible to make them kinda blend and work together.

i actually saw this Poster in the Monicals pizza restaurant and found it really interesting as to how it made me follow the direction of where she was looking and the direction of where she was pouring the "oil" (guessing). i didn't realize it at first glance but i think there could be continuation and direction in this poster. Excuse how the picture is so dark but I think you will be able to make out most of what going on. i Shopped it a little hopefully its better.
