The artist of this poster wanted to get a message out to the people about the political stand off that is being encountered today. In the background is a soft and subtle message that she clearly tries to send to the readers, and her choice of the cracking pattern really interested me as to why she might have used it.. something interesting about it as well is how she had fully justified the whit text. it does make it unique but i think might be hard for people to read the first time.

Once
This illistration has so much going on that it can keep your eyes glued longer you look at it. th background has and awsome color that seems too work well with the ground of the poster....i find the colors myself to be very daring and probably wound't neccessarily work with a different style like poster. the effects of it really make it stand out.Tuesday, September 16, 2008

Not Typography?

Now im guessing some people wuld be looking at this post and might be wondering if this applaices to any of the fonts that we had worked on. Well not really. but i did like the way that they brought in the banner to from a very suttle and gracful and yet artistic "Join Us". where as the other pic would most likely be the complete opposite....its not nearly as invitiong or freindly as the other one, dont you think? but i still do very much like it.
